What We Repair
Our repair standards are done to offer the full range of fine-jewelry service: prong retipping and re-shanking, gemstone tightening, soldering, sizing, polishing, rhodium re-plating, clasp and chain repair. We re-set gemstones into new or modified mounts.
Not every repair is accepted. Our bench is reserved for fine jewelry — pieces whose materials and construction merit the same hands that make our own — and we assess each piece before committing it. While vintage restoration is not our practice, we will gladly use an older piece’s gemstones and materials of real quality to begin a new commission designed entirely with you in mind.
What sets our service apart? Every repair done at Pieter Andries is completed inside our own Southlake, Texas atelier. Nothing leaves the house. It is serviced by the same hands and held to the same Pieter Andries standards as the jewelry we make.
From Drop-Off to Pickup
Drop Off & Inspection
Bring your jewelry in for a hands-on inspection. We examine setting integrity, metal wear, gemstone tension and overall condition.
Quote & Approval
A written summary of the recommended work and a turnaround estimate. No work begins without your approval.
In-House Repair
The piece stays inside our atelier. Casting, soldering, setting and polishing are all performed by our highly qualified team of in-house jewelers.
Final Inspection & Pickup
Every repaired piece is inspected against the same Pieter Andries quality standard as new work before it is returned to you. Satisfaction with your piece is our ultimate goal.
Bring the Piece In
Walk into our Southlake showroom or schedule a private visit. We will inspect the piece, quote the work and complete the repair in-house.
