Our sales consultants and diamond buying staff are certified yearly by the American Gem Society ensuring the highest standards of ethics, gemological knowledge, and consumer protection. This means that you will be served by those who truly have a passion for diamonds and jewelry and are among the best in the industry.
We reject approximately 20 percent of the diamonds that come through our buying office due to inaccurate or misleading grading information. Every diamond that we add to our collection is graded in our on-site diamond laboratory by our experienced gemologists Pieter Andries and Bridget Byrne. This assures you that the diamond grading information you are presented with has been verified and is guaranteed to be correct.
Up to fifty percent of the value of a diamond is determined by cut alone. That is why we use ASET (Angular Spectrum Evaluation Tool) software to grade each diamond’s light performance or brilliance, which is determined by quality of the cut. Using this software we are able to efficiently select diamonds that were cut for maximum beauty rather than to maintain a certain carat weight. Only two percent of all diamonds meet our exacting standards for cut. In addition, the partnerships we have with the world’s leading diamond cutters allow us to purchase these superior cut diamonds direct from the manufacturer, eliminating costly middle steps.
