Diamond and Gemstone Evaluation

The Pieter Andries Laboratory is equipped with the latest gemological equipment which allows our accredited gemologists to achieve a high level of precision in grading your diamonds and gemstones. Please contact us for an appointment.

Pieter Andries is the only custom jewelry store in North Texas to use the Angular Spectrum Evaluation Tool (ASET), the newest technology in diamond cut evaluation. Available exclusively to members of the American Gem Society, the ASET allows users to quickly determine a diamond’s light performance, which is a product of the quality of the cut. It is a proven indication of a diamond’s brilliance, fire, and scintillation. Pieter Andries and his staff use this technology to select stones for inventory and to educate clients about the importance of cut in relation to beauty and value.

Jewelry Repairs

Most jewelry repairs are done on-site by professional craftsmen. Nothing leaves our facility, ensuring your jewels will be protected.

Appraisals

All appraisals are completed by a graduate gemologist in our accredited gem evaluation laboratory.

Insurance Replacement
