Certified by Pieter Andries

The Pieter Andries Diamond Grading Certificate is our comprehensive diamond report. We grade diamonds on much more than the four C’s. There is a wealth of information to consider when evaluating the beauty of a diamond.

Our software enables us to view a full 3D diagram of each stone, showing every facet and angle. The diamond is then evaluated through GIA and AGS licensed software to determine its cut grade. Round and princess cut diamonds also include a light performance map.

Each Pieter Andries diamond above .50 carats is inscribed with a unique identification number. This ensures that you can identify your Pieter Andries diamond. We love our diamonds, and will gladly buy them back for an upgrade at the price you paid.

AGS Cut Grade

Pieter Andries is licensed by the American Gem Society (AGS) to issue reports using the AGS Diamond Cut Grading System.

The AGS Diamond Cut Grade assesses a diamond’s light performance, proportions, and finish. These factors are represented on a deduction scale, from 0 to 10. 0 indicating the highest cut grade, while 10 is the lowest.

This software and grading system is exclusive to AGS members and the prestigious AGS Laboratory in Las Vegas, Nevada. AGS members comprise less than 5% of the nation’s jewelers.

GIA Cut Grade

Pieter Andries is licensed by the Gemological Institute of America (GIA) to issue reports using the GIA Facetware Diamond Cut Grading System.

Introduced in 2005 after years of extensive research, the software assigns one of five grades to describe the overall cut quality of a standard round brilliant diamond in the GIA D-to-Z color range.
